Kominka Marcelo
Built around 120 years ago in the nature-rich town of Hanakawa, Kitaibaraki, Kominka Marcelo opened as a private rental in September 2019. This traditional farmhouse features an impressive tiled roof and beautiful historic details. Enjoy a peaceful escape from everyday life surrounded by history and nature.
Shrine & Forest
A three-minute walk from the entrance leads to Sawawachigi Shrine, nestled in the bamboo grove behind the farmhouse. Surrounded by the shrine and forest, Kominka Marcelo offers a peaceful, almost sacred atmosphere.
Irori Hearth
The traditional sunken hearth in the Japanese-style room has been restored to its original form. Gather around the irori and enjoy the warm atmosphere of a traditional Japanese home.
Architectural Heritage
Built in 1897, this farmhouse preserves remarkable craftsmanship, including a single-plank ceiling, intricate wooden details, decorative transoms, and nine glass panels featuring unique engraved landscapes.

自然に囲まれた高台に佇む6LDKの広々とした平屋。LDK(20畳)・囲炉裏間(8畳)・畳間(10畳)×2・畳間(6畳)・板の間(8畳)。趣のあるリビングダイニングにはモダンな家具や照明を組み合わせ、ノスタルジックで温かみのあるスペースに。静かな落ち着いた空間で、大切な人とゆっくりとした時間をお過ごしいただけます。
設備・アメニティ
2012年には入口土間スペースの拡大・キッチン・風呂・トイレ等水周りを大幅リフォーム。キッチン・ダイニング・廊下の一部を、無垢の杉板に変更。2018年に玄関・建屋の冊子（一部）をリフォーム。古民家の古き良き部分に便利な設備が揃い、集う皆々が心地よく過ごせる空間になりました。
